There’s a slight chance for freezing drizzle in the Wichita metropolitan area both early and late in the day, forecasters say.

In between, temperatures will climb into the low 40s under cloudy skies. Sprinkles could fall off and on during the day, too. Winds will be out of the south, forecasters say, gusting to more than 20 miles an hour.

Overnight lows will drop to the low 20s, with light south winds flipping to the north and gusting to nearly 30 miles an hour.

Saturday will be partly cloudy and cold, forecasters say, with highs in the low 30s. Sunday will be much warmer, with more sunshine and temperatures in the upper 40s.
