Former Shocker basketball player Jason Perez is taking his Next Level Hoops Academy to Bel Aire’s Sunflower Commerce Park.

Perez started the academy, which has clinics, camps, and training, with five teams in 2010.

The academy now has 30 teams and is buying six acres near 53rd and Webb Road.

There will be six basketball courts for practice, league play and tournaments. There also will be an in-house training center.

Marlin Penner and Tymber Lee of John T. Arnold Associates handled the sale of the two lots.
