The Small Business Administration Wichita District Office said Tuesday that it has been selected to host a training initiative next year for small business executives.

The SBA’s Emerging Leaders initiative is a 26-week business leadership development program for small businesses. Officials said the program will provide executives the opportunity to work with experienced mentors, attend specialized workshops and connect with peers, city leaders and the financial community.

There is no cost of the program for the business executives selected to participate.

Small business owners interested in attending the program should contact Michael Aumack at the SBA’s Wichita office, 316-269-6275. More information is also available at http://www.sba.gov/about-sba/sba_initiatives/sba_emerging_leaders_initiative
