A burglar stole only a few hundred dollars in cellphone merchandise early Monday, but caused $10,000 in damage by breaking through Target store doors and display cases to do it, Wichita police said.

Police and store employees of a Target store at 301 S. Towne East Mall Drive think the same burglar did the same thing in a burglary at the same location a month ago, Wichita police Lt. Doug Nolte said.

The burglar broke in at about 3:45 a.m. Monday and took three cellphones, Nolte said.
