Rock band Kansas to perform at Kansas Star Arena on Jan. 29

Rock band Kansas will perform at the Kansas Star Arena on Jan. 29, the arena announced Monday. The band formed in Topeka in 1973 and is celebrating its 40th anniversary. It will serve as the finale for the Kansas Star’s “Kansas Day” celebration.

Kansas has produced eight gold albums, three six-times platinum albums and one platinum live album. The band is best known for hits such as “Dust in the Wind,” “Carry on Wayward Son,” and “Point of Know Return.”

Tickets starting at $20 go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Kansas Star Arena box office, or at www.kansasstararena.com. Along with regularly priced tickets, VIP Meet & Greet packages and premium ticket and merchandise packages are available at www.kansasband.com.
