A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of intimidation, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary after a woman reported he invaded her home and threatened her with a handgun after she had filed a police report against him, Wichita police reported Sunday.

The incident occurred Saturday afternoon at a home in the 1700 block of South Clifton, said Sgt. Bart Brunscheen.

“Apparently, she called the police the day before and reported some kind of wrongdoing that he had done,” Brunscheen said. “He was so upset about this that he enters her home without permission. ... Once he enters the home, he points the gun at her and threatens to kill her if she ever reports anything he does to the police again.”

There were other people in the home who reported the man made general threats against them as well.

After the man left, the woman called police, who found the man in a vehicle near the scene. He was arrested and a search of the car turned up three handguns, which were confiscated, Brunscheen said.
