Two masked robbers held up an Advance Auto Parts store in east Wichita on Saturday night, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash, a cellphone and a credit card, Wichita police reported Sunday.

The robbers, both believed to be males, entered the store at 4520 E. 13th St., near Oliver, at about 9 p.m., the store’s closing time.

One was armed with a black shotgun and the other a handgun with a 6-inch barrel, said police Sgt. Bart Brunscheen.

They confronted two people in the store and fled after taking the cash and other items. No vehicle was seen, and the victims did not know in which direction the robbers fled, Brunscheen said.
