Coughing it up

The Wildcats had more turnovers (23) in the game than made shots (20). Shane Southwell and Wesley Iwundu combined for nine turnovers, while scoring a total of nine points. “Our guys just have to understand when to go and when not to go,” Weber said. “We charged five times, we messed up on fast breaks. Just simple plays. We made some bad decisions, just trying to go too fast.”

Fun in the sun

The team is scheduled to stay in Puerto Rico on Monday and not return home until Tuesday.

“We’re going to let them enjoy them island, go to a beach, maybe snorkel or something like that,” Weber said. “They deserve the rest.”
