A man robbed a pharmacy of prescription drugs in southeast Wichita on Thursday night, police said.

He went into the Walgreens at 1625 S. Webb Road at about 7 p.m. Thursday and handed a pharmacist a note demanding controlled medications, Lt. Doug Nolte said. The pharmacist complied, and the robber — an unknown man dressed entirely in black — left the store and walked west from the building.
