Clutch at the Cotillion

Maryland-based rock band Clutch will perform at 8 p.m. Friday at the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg. Opening acts are The Sword and American Sharks. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show is at 8. All ages can attend. Tickets are $25 at the door. For more information, call 316-722-4201.

Two Soggy Bottom shows

Two live shows are scheduled for Soggy Bottom Too, 767 N. West St., during the next week. The first is by Sean Chambers, who plays Chicago-, Texas- and Delta-style blues music. He’ll perform at 8 p.m. Friday. Doors open at 7. The second is a show by MonkeyJunk, a Canadian band whose music is described as “swamp roots rock.” That band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, with doors opening at 7. Admission to each show is $15 cash at the door, and attendees must be 21 or older.

Sluggos headline Food Bank show

The Sluggos, a local band that features musicians Michael Carmody and Wayne Gottstine, will headline the fourth annual Thanksgiving Food Bank Concert next week at Kirby’s Beer Store, 3227 E. 17th St. The show is at 9 p.m. Wednesday, and those who attend are asked to bring canned or boxed food to donate to the Kansas Food Bank.
