Henderson, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - The LPGA Tour posted a total of 17-under on Tuesday to win the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge by one shot over the Champions Tour.

Stacy Lewis, Cristie Kerr and Natalie Gulbis won the competition, which this year was played as the two best balls for each team.

Lewis was on fire early as she carded six of her eight birdies on the front nine to help the LPGA team make the turn at 10-under par. Kerr chipped in with three straight birdies from the fourth.

Gulbis had three birdies on the back nine, while Kerr birdied the final two holes to help the LPGA seal the win. The LPGA won for the sixth time in the event's 22nd year.

The Champions Tour team of Fred Funk, Bernhard Langer and Kenny Perry posted a total of 16-under at Rio Secco to take second place.

The PGA Tour team of Jason Day, Billy Horschel and Boo Weekley finished third at 8-under. On the final hole, Day was out of play, Weekley made bogey and Horschel faltered to a quadruple-bogey.
