Kobi the Go Getter, a 2-year-old male Labrador retriever mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

You know what sounds like a lot of fun right now? A walk with you. We could go to the park, to a trail or just around the block. Then afterward we can hang out and play with some doggie toys. You should visit with your new walking partner right away at KHS.

Also available:

• Cornflake the Goofball, 3-year-old female border collie mix

I might just be the perfect dog for you. I love to go on long walks, relax on the sofa, and, best of all, I’m house-trained. Doesn’t that sound perfect? I can't wait to start spending time with you. You should visit me at KHS right away.

• Jasper the Private Investigator, 2-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

You know what sounds like a lot of fun right now? Cuddling up and lying on your lap. We can just watch movies or TV. It really doesn’t matter to me. I just want to spend time with you. You should visit with your new cuddle buddy at KHS right away.

• Precious the Personal Assistant, 7-year-old female cat, domestic medium-hair mix

You know what’s great about having a personal assistant? I can clear your busy schedule and pencil you in for some relaxing cat cuddling. Those busy days will be no more with me looking over your schedule. Come to KHS today so you can meet the best personal assistant ever.

• Peach the Guinea Pig, 1-year-old male

Hi, I’m Peach. I’m a curious and fun-loving guy. I would make a great pet for someone in an apartment or for a first-time pet owner. I love to run around in my cage and I really like to be held. You should visit me at KHS today.
