Silver Alert canceled for 84-year-old Wichita man

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has canceled a Silver Alert issued in response to the disappearance of an 84-year-old Wichita man after he was found in Oklahoma.

In an e-mail Friday night, the office said that Dorsey F. Brown was located at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Lawton, Okla. He was involved in a non-injury traffic accident, and his family was on the way to Oklahoma, the office said.
