Opening

The Blue Balloon, a hair salon for families with an emphasis on children, will open Tuesday at 8338 E. 21st St., Suite 309, in the Shops at Tallgrass. New office

Wichita-based Central Air Conditioning Co. has opened an office in Coffeyville, where it has had service technicians working in the area for several years. The building at 1217 S. Smith Family Mortuaries received a 2013 Pursuit of Excellence Award from the National Funeral Directors Association. It was one of 153 firms from around the world to receive the award.
