Police are investigating what may be a road rage incident in southeast Wichita on Tuesday afternoon.

A silver Honda cut off a blue sedan at Harry and Oliver shortly before 3 p.m., nearly causing an accident, Lt. Doug Nolte said. There was a verbal exchange between people in the two cars.

The blue car continued to the Dillons at Harry and Edgemoor, Nolte said, where the silver Honda pulled up next to the other car and a man in the Honda said, “Do you want to get shot up?”

The driver in the blue car heard two shots and the Honda sped away. Two bullet holes were found in the door of the blue sedan, a police report on the incident said.

No injuries were reported.
