The NFL announced Friday that kickoff for the Chiefs’ game at Denver on Nov. 17 will be moved from late afternoon to 7:30 p.m. Central time for NBC’s “Sunday Night Football.”

The originally scheduled Green Bay at New York Giants game on NBC has been switched from Sunday night to 3:25 p.m. on Fox.

Originally, CBS had protected the two Chiefs-Broncos games from being moved to NBC’s Sunday night telecast, but CBS later decided to give up the first game between the Chiefs, 8-0, and Broncos, 7-1, who have the best records in the AFC.

“After discussions with the NFL, we made a one-time accommodation so the game can be seen by a national audience we could not provide during our regionalized single-header weekend,” said a CBS spokesperson.

The Broncos-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on Dec. 1 is currently scheduled for a noon kickoff on CBS, but it could get moved to 3:25 p.m. in place of New England-Houston.
