Students from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy are partnering with Senior Services Inc to host a medication management and wellness workshop for seniors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at 200 S. Walnut, according to a news release.
The event will allow seniors a chance to ask questions about their over-the-counter and prescription medications and to have health screenings and information on hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, stroke, heart attack prevention and respiratory health.
There will also be free flu shots given by student pharmacists.
Attendees are encouraged to bring medications or a list of medications to the event.
