If food stamps make single mothers and children lazy and dependent, do corporate subsidies make businesses lazy and dependent?

It doesn’t matter if the glass is half full or half empty. It’s still twice as big as it needs to be, just like our government.

Poor Republicans. They tout individual responsibility and self-reliance. But when it comes to wind or solar power, they are chained to the oil companies’ and monopolistic utilities’ money for their campaigns. Advancing technology in renewable energy will wean us away from foreign dependence.

Who decided that female volleyball players have to wear skintight short shorts that leave almost nothing to the imagination? I’ll bet it was a male coach who made that decision.

Just sitting on a machine at the gym is not exercising.
