Kansas has its own Don Quixote. His name is Kris Kobach.
How long before the 17,000-plus citizens disenfranchised by Kobach sue the state in a class-action lawsuit?
Kathleen Sebelius was elected governor in 2002 and promptly cured the financial mess left by Gov. Bill Graves after he gave a surplus back to “the people.” The surplus was carried over from Gov. Joan Finney, the last governor to leave office with one. Republicans would like us to forget this.
It sounds like Sebelius is going to be the scapegoat for all the sore losers of the Affordable Care Act. How childish and petty our congressmen have become. The same holds true for those who want to impose the health insurance fee increase as soon as possible. Stop it, people.
I passed by the Kansas governor’s mansion recently. I would bet Sebelius wishes she still lived there.
This president has our great country more divided than any other president I can remember.
Obama supposedly didn’t know about the tap on German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s phone. He didn’t know about the IRS scandal. He didn’t know about Benghazi. I bet he knows what his last golf score was.
I imagine Obama would now like Edward Snowden’s release of NSA secrets to accelerate, so the president himself can find out what the NSA is up to. Snowden’s latest revelations have transitioned him from a national hero to a world hero who deserves a hero’s homecoming.
The recent failures of our federal government, including the lead-up and aftermath of the terrorist attack in Benghazi and the passing of 3,000-page bills that no one reads, prove our federal government is not serving the people as it should. And you liberals want more government. Go figure.
My family and I fly a lot and think the airport is already easy to use. What it lacks is seating for folks waiting on incoming passengers, and it could use more food vendors. If the new terminal will fix all that, forget the name change.
If I receive poor service at a restaurant, I tip very little and write the reason on the receipt. Otherwise, the server might think you forgot.
Is the glass half full or half empty? It’s both. If one is filling the glass and stops midway, then it’s half full. If one starts with a full glass and drinks half of it, then it’s half empty.
