Details released in robbery of bank branch inside 31st, Seneca Dillons

Authorities are still looking for a slight-of-build man who robbed a bank branch inside a south Wichita Dillons on Monday afternoon and drove off in a silver Ford Explorer.

The man entered the store at Seneca and 31st Street South at about 2:30 p.m., went to the Intrust Bank branch inside the store and handed the teller a note, Lt. Steve Kenney said. Kenney said the note read “Give me all the money and do not hit the alarm.”

The tellers complied and the robber walked out of the store and drove away, Kenney said.

The suspect is a white man in his 40s who is 5-foot-5 and about 135 pounds, Kenney said. He has brown hair and a thick mustache. he wore a dark blue long-sleeved shirt and a black hat.

Monday’s incident was the second time that branch has been robbed this month, police said.
