Two masked men — one of them brandishing a revolver — robbed the Bella Luna restaurant on East Central on Monday night, police said.
The men walked into the restaurant at 4618 E. Central at about 8:20 p.m. and ordered all five employees to the ground, Lt. Steve Kenney said. One of them pointed a gun at the victims.
The robbers then ordered the manager to get money from the business’ safe. He complied, giving them an undisclosed amount of money, Kenney said. They left the restaurant via the rear door.
There were no customers inside the restaurant at the time of the robbery, he said.
The suspects are described as two unknown black men. The one with the gun was described as 6 feet, 1 inch and 190 pounds. He wore a heavy green coat and a black mask.
The other is 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds, victims told police. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, shorts and a green scarf over his face.
