A 22-year-old woman on Monday became the fourth person charged in Sedgwick County District Court with attempted murder in a shooting incident earlier this month in east Wichita.
Danielle Oliver was charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection with the incident that happened early on the morning of Oct. 12. A 53-year-old man was shot multiple times in the backyard of a house at 212 S. Holyoke. Authorities say he suffered long-term injuries in the incident.
Also charged with attempted first-degree murder are 18-year-old Demarkus Oliver, 29-year-old Dominic Oliver and 28-year-old Marquez Barry. Those charges were filed last week.
Demarkus and Dominic Oliver were arrested on the evening of Oct. 21, while Barry was arrested the next day. Danielle Oliver was arrested last Friday.
All four suspects have a $250,000 bond, jail records show. The preliminary hearing for Barry and Demarkus and Dominic Oliver has been scheduled for Nov. 7. Danielle Oliver’s preliminary hearing is slated for Nov. 13.
