The 100th and 101st Freddy’s stores are scheduled to open Tuesday, marking another milestone for the Wichita-based company.
The 100th Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will open in Bowling Green, Ky., and a few hours later, the 101st store is scheduled to open in Westlake Village, Calif., according to a news release from the company
Company namesake Freddy Simon, 88, is expected to attend the grand opening in Bowling Green.
According to the release, more Freddy’s are scheduled to open before the end of 2013 in Arizona, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
The company was founded by Scott Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon, opening its first location in Wichita in 2002.
