Two cousins have been arrested in connection with a shooting earlier this month, police said.
The men, ages 18 and 29, were arrested at about 6 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of South Mission, Lt. Doug Nolte said. That’s northeast of Lincoln and Woodlawn in southeast Wichita.
They have been linked to the shooting of a 53-year-old man on Oct. 12, Nolte said. The victim was shot several times and was found in the back yard of a house in the 200 block of South Holyoke. That’s west of College Hill Park, southeast of Douglas and Hillside.
Police are still looking for a third suspect in the shooting, a woman who has been identified to authorities.
The shooting victim remains hospitalized. He is in fair condition at Wesley Medical Center, a hospital employee said Tuesday.
