Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers said its 99th store will open Tuesday.
The store in Broomfield, Colo., near Denver, is owned by franchisees Bill and Brian Pyle of Denver.
Officials from the Wichita-based restaurant chain said in an e-mail to The Eagle that its 100th store is expected to open in the next couple of weeks.
Founded in 2002 by Scott Redler and Bill, Randy and Freddy Simon, the chain has 88 franchised stores.
The company said there are more than 400 additional stores planned for development by franchise groups in states not currently served by Freddy’s, including Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Wyoming.
