A 73-year-old Hispanic man who was reported missing early Sunday morning has been found, according to a 911 dispatcher.

Ladis Lado-Vasquez went for a walk at about 7 a.m. Sunday morning and had not returned home, said Sgt. Bart Brunscheen, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department, earlier Sunday.

No other details were immediately available.

Family members contacted police after they were unable to find him. They were concerned, Brunscheen said, because Lado-Vasquez has diabetes and dementia.

Fire and police personnel had searched for Lado-Vasquez, and bloodhounds were called in to help, Brunscheen said.
