Two men were robbed after they left a club in Old Town at 2 a.m. Friday, police said.

Lt. Doug Nolte said three men followed the pair as they walked in the 100 block of North Rock Island. One of the victims was punched and knocked to the ground. The man who punched him went through his pockets, then turned to the other victim, pushed him up against a trash can and took his iPhone from a coat pocket.

One of the suspects is about 35 years old, 5-foot-7, with a medium build, wearing a white T-shirt, Nolte said. A second suspect is about 40 years old, 5-foot-8 with a medium build and a black beard, wearing a light blue jacket. Police couldn’t get an adequate description of the third suspect.
