‘Nosferatu’ and the Wurlitzer

Wichita Theatre Organ is putting on a showing of classic silent film “Nosferatu” at 8 p.m. Saturday at Century II’s Exhibition Hall, 225 W. Douglas. The 1922 vampire film was made by German impressionist director Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau. The movie will be accompanied by Steven Ball, director of outreach for the Midmer-Losh Organ in Atlantic City. He’ll perform the score on Wichita’s Wurlitzer theater organ. Tickets are $10, or $5 for ages 12 and under, and are available at www.Wichitatix.com or at the door.

Hairball at the Cotillion

Hairball, a 1980s rock tribute act, is returning to the Cotillion on Saturday for a show that will bring to life arena acts such as Van Halen, Motley Crue, Queen, Journey and Aerosmith. The show starts at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are all general admission and are $17 in advance, $22 at the door. For advance tickets, visit www.thecotillion.com or call 316-722-4201.

Too Slim at Soggy Bottoms

Nashville-based Blues band Too Slim & The Taildraggers will perform at 8 p.m. Friday at Soggy Bottoms Too, 767 N. West St. The group’s leader, Tim “Too Slim” Langford, has produced 11 studio, four live and two solo albums. Doors open at 7 p.m. The event is non-smoking, and admission is $15 cash at the door.
