Derby driver’s license office to open Tuesday

  • Published Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at 6:14 p.m.

A new driver’s license office will open in Derby on Tuesday.

The office is located in the Bristol Square Shopping Center, 620 N. Rock Road, Suite 300.

Kansas Secretary of Revenue Nick Jordan will be at the office to announce the opening at 11 a.m., and he will renew his own driver’s license.

The addition of the Derby office comes after consistent complaints about long lines at the other Sedgwick County driver’s license office at Twin Lakes Shopping Center, 21st and Amidon in Wichita.
