A Friday morning fire in northeast Wichita caused $120,000 damage to a house and its contents, fire officials said.

Crews responded to the fire shortly before 8 a.m. in the 8500 block of East Bridlewood, which is near 21st and Rock Road. The fire started on the outside of the garage and moved into the attic over the garage, Capt. Dave Hersh said.

Hersh said he didn’t know what started the fire. There were no injuries.
