Wichita State’s Shocker Madness basketball preview starts with volleyball on Oct. 18 at Koch Arena.

Then comes plenty of basketball.

WSU plays Bradley at 6 p.m. in the volleyball match. Around 8 p.m., the women’s basketball team takes the court. They will scrimmage for 30 minutes and compete in a three-point contest. Their NCAA Tournament banner will make its debut.

ESPNU will begin its broadcast around 9 p.m. with an introduction of the men’s team and the Final Four ring ceremony. The Shockers will have a dunk contest before a 20-minute scrimmage. ESPN’s Len Elmore will interview WSU coach Gregg Marshall.

Admission is free to the basketball portion of the evening.
