Goddard teenager killed in accident near Augusta

A 14-year-old Goddard boy was killed and two Augusta teens were injured in an accident in Butler County on Saturday night, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Corbin Collier of Goddard was a passenger in a Dodge pickup that was westbound at about 10 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 54 about 8 miles east of Augusta. The pickup left the road and rolled, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.

The 16-year-old Augusta teen who was driving was not injured, according to the report. The two other passengers, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, were taken to Wesley Medical Center, the Highway Patrol said. Their conditions were not immediately available.
