Get your pet pics at Woofstock

The Wichita Eagle will once again have staff photographers on hand at Woofstock, which lasts from 9:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Sedgwick County Park, to take portraits of people and their pets. The photos will be published online at Kansas.com/woofstock next week, and people can order prints. A portion of the sale of each print will benefit the Kansas Humane Society. It invites pet owners to bring their dogs and enter them in contests such as Best Dressed or Doggie Musical Chairs. There also will be vendors and dogs available for adoption. Admission is $5, free for kids 12 and under. VIP admission of $25 includes a T-shirt and prize pack. For more information, visit www.kshumane.org or call 316-524-9196. Also, see the special Woofstock section inside Friday’s Eagle.
