Donors to the KU Endowment provided $119.4 million to the University of Kansas in the fiscal year ending June 30, the university said in a written statement Tuesday.

The money is used in the way donors specify, the statement said. The money will help both the campus in Lawrence and the University of Kansas Hospital, the statement said.

Donations help fund programs including scholarships, fellowships, faculty salaries, professorships, research, artistic performances, library services and museum acquisitions, the statement said.
