An alert neighbor helped police catch people suspected of burglary on Sunday, Wichita police said.

A neighbor in the 1800 block of Denise Marie saw two men loading belongings into a pickup truck being at a neighbor’s house at about 12:20 p.m., Lt. Doug Nolte said.

The neighbor called 911.

Officers stopped the pickup truck in the 9800 block of West Chartwell,, said Lt. Doug Nolte. One man, 38, was arrested. Two other men suspected in the case have not yet been located, Nolte said.

“This was good work by a neighbor paying attention and realizing that pickup didn’t belong in that neighborhood,” Nolte said.
