Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the robbery of a south Wichita credit union earlier this week, police said.

An 18-year-old man was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail shortly after 6 p.m. following questioning at City Hall, police records show. A 15-year-old boy was later arrested at a house in the 500 block of South Pinecrest.

The older teen is suspected of being the person who walked into the V.A. Credit Union at 804 S. Oliver shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday and ordering a clerk at gunpoint to give him money, Wichita police Lt. Steve Kenney said. The other teen is suspected of being the driver of the getaway car.

Kenney would not say how authorities were able to identify the suspects.
