The crime

Crime Stoppers and the Wichita Police Homicide Unit are asking for help in solving a cold case from 2012. The killing occurred between 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. Robert Newman, 73, was found dead from a gunshot wound in his living room at 3501 W. Ninth St., near Ninth and West. He was retired, but he repaired small engines and ATVs at his residence.
