A man died early Sunday morning near 108th and Ewing streets in Kansas City after he apparently struck another man with his car, and the pedestrian shot him, police said. The shooting followed an argument.

At 3:30 a.m. officers found the driver dead at the scene. The pedestrian was treated for his injuries at an area hospital. It is not known whether any charges will be filed. No other information was immediately available.

Homicide detectives are investigating.
