Butler County’s 21st Toy Run is set for Oct. 5 in El Dorado.

Motorcyclists and others are invited to meet for the annual parade at 10 a.m. at the town’s 4-H building. Departure is at 11 a.m.

Participants are asked to bring new, unwrapped toys, which will be distributed by the Salvation Army to needy Butler County children and teens this Christmas. Cash donations are also welcome.

The law enforcement-escorted route loops 70 miles through Augusta, Douglass, Rose Hill, Andover and Benton then ends back in El Dorado. Lunch will be available, and the event includes an auction and door prizes. For more details, contact Charles “Mick” Jimenez or Teri Jimenez at 316-320-0333 or 316-321-2262 or e-mail tjimenez058@cox.net.

The event is sponsored by Butler County’s chapter of A.B.A.T.E., a national motorcycle rights and safety organization.
