Group to discuss passenger rail, biking, walking at Monday meeting

The Wichita Independent Neighborhoods group will discuss railroads, biking and walking during its 5:30 p.m. Monday meeting at the United Way building, 245 N. Water.

Vice Mayor Pete Meitzner will update the city’s efforts to bring passenger rail service back to Wichita. Scott Wadle of the city-county planning department will discuss the bike trails and walking paths planned for the area.
