A 32-year-old man is in critical condition at Wesley Medical Center after a stabbing Sunday morning in the College Hill Park.

Police responded to a 911 call at 3:50 a.m. in the 300 block of South Clifton where they found a man in critical condition. He had been stabbed in the upper torso, according to Sgt. Scott Brunow, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department.

The man told police he had been in an altercation with another man in the park and was stabbed. After he was stabbed, he walked up the street to a residence where the 911 call was made.
