Wichita State’s women’s basketball team opens Missouri Valley Conference play with a three-game road trip, starting at Missouri State on Jan. 5.

The Shockers, defending MVC co-champions, then travel to new Valley member Loyola (Jan. 10) and Bradley (Jan. 12). They open at home in conference play on Jan. 18 against Northern Iowa. After playing five of its first seven MVC games on the road, WSU plays four straight at Koch Arena, beginning with a Jan. 31 game against Southern Illinois.

WSU plays Central Methodist in an exhibition game on Oct. 27. It opens the regular season against Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne on Nov. 8 at Koch Arena.
