Wichita State setter Chelsey Feekin is one of 30 volleyball players named as a candidate for the Senior CLASS Award.

Feekin, from Papillion, Neb., carries a 3.37 grade-point average in elementary education. She earned honorable-mention All-American honors in 2012, in addition to All-Central Region and All-Missouri Valley Conference.

The Senior CLASS Award is judged on an athlete’s accomplishments in community, character, classroom and competition. The list of 30 will be cut to 10 during the season. The winner of voting by coaches, media and fans will be announced in December.

Kansas middle blocker Caroline Jarmoc is also a candidate.
