Win tickets to Zoobilee

The Wichita Eagle is giving away three pairs of tickets to Zoobilee, the annual fundraiser for Sedgwick County Zoo that features food, drink and live bands stationed throughout the venue. Each ticket to the Sept. 7 event costs $125, meaning that the prize is worth $250. People who already have “liked” the Wichita Eagle page on Facebook ( www.facebook.com/wichitaeagle) and people who like it before midnight on Sept. 1 will be entered in a drawing to win. The Eagle will message winners via Facebook.

Josh Abbott Band at the Cotillion

The Josh Abbott Band, a group from Lubbock, Texas, known for songs such as “Touch,” “I’ll Sing About Mine” and “She Will Be Free,” will perform on Friday at the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg. The show starts at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. The opening act will be Weston Burt. General admission tickets are $20 at the door. For more information, call 316-722-4201.

Local rapper at the Orpheum

A rapper DB Eazy will perform at the Orpheum Theatre on Saturday. He’s a local artist putting on his first performance. Tickets are $5 at the door. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. Drinks will be available for ages 21 and over. Those who want to hear his music can visit soundcloud.com/db-eazy.
