Why do so many people persist in the belief that tattoos enhance their appearance when they are surrounded by considerable evidence to the contrary?

Regarding a comment criticizing job applicants with “tattoos, piercings, unprofessional clothing”: It’s been very warm out, and I’m not going to get all dressed up simply to apply. I don’t plan on wearing my Avenged Sevenfold T-shirt and Daisy Dukes to work.

Do not tell me what I can do with my body, mind, religion or politics. My father had tattoos. He is now a hero buried at Arlington Cemetery. He protected my rights as well as yours. It burns me up that people want to make others like themselves.

Obamacare was designed to fail so Democrats can achieve their goal of single-payer insurance, better known to the rest of the world as socialized medicine. Socialized medicine is another step closer to the ultimate Democrat goal, the complete control of people’s lives.

The lunatic right has done it again – in this case rushed to believe 3-year-old, recycled misinformation about the president’s dog having a private jet. By relying on such eager, persistently willful gullibility, how can the Republicans remain relevant?

Hillary Clinton continues to be heralded by the media as such a tremendous secretary of state, while no one can point to just one accomplishment.

I’d like to report a stolen police car traveling eastbound on 37th Street North between Woodlawn and Rock about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday. I know it was stolen because real police would have known to get all the way into the left lane when they passed my bicycle.

I saw “Spring Awakening” at the Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre. I was wary about the subject matter, but I was worrying about nothing. The songs are beautiful. The acting is superb.
