Max Willhaus has joined Zernco as general superintendent, and Ryan Hursh has joined the company’s project management.

Tina Grzeskiewicz, a psychological technician with Prairie View, has been named to the board of directors for the Kansas branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and will also serve as its secretary and treasurer.

Physician Laura Whisler has joined College Hill OB/GYN and will begin seeing patients Monday.

The board of directors of The Health Ministries Clinic in Newton has appointed Matthew Schmidt as executive director.

Family physician Jon Casimir has completed the requirements and has been recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Physician Peg Bicker has joined physician Jeanne Kroeker at Wichita Internal Medicine Associates.

Physicians Jason Hampl and Chris Meyer have joined Family MedCenters and will open Andover Family MedCenter in the fall. They are currently seeing patients at the Southeast office.

Medical students, Jithma Abeykoon of Sri Lanka and Armando Villanueva of Mexico have begun clinical training at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita.

Amanda Miller and Kyle Miller of Derby, both of whom are fourth-year medical students at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, are receiving clinical training in Quinter with family practitioners Doug and Shelly Gurenbacher.

Lan Ly of Wichita, fourth-year medical student at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, is receiving clinical training in Moundridge from Paul Ullom-Minnich, family practitioner at Partners in Family Care.

Jennifer Baalmann of Colwich, fourth-year medical student at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, is receiving clinical training in Plainville from Beth Loney, a family physician at Plainville Medical Clinic.

Isaac Johnston of Wichita, fourth-year medical student at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, is receiving clinical training in Wellington from Stephen Hawks, family practitioner at the Sumner County Family Care Center.

Erin Blackburn of Garden City, fourth-year medical student at the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, is receiving clinical training in Garden City from pediatrician Michael Shull.
