One injured in shooting near Boys and Girls Club in Wichita

Wichita police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night, sending one person to the hospital in critical condition, according to a Sedgwick County dispatcher.

The shooting was reported to police at 8:38 p.m. near the Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas, in the 2400 block of Opportunity Drive.

Police were searching the area for suspects, the dispatcher said. No other details were immediately available.
