Reno County remained under a flood warning Sunday as the county’s emergency management director re-issued the county’s Emergency Declaration of Disaster for another week.
Bill Guy, Reno County’s emergency management director, said in a news release posted on Facebook that he was re-issuing the disaster declaration “due to the current flooding and road conditions.”
Should conditions improve, he wrote, the declaration will be lifted.
However, the National Weather Service forecast for the next five days indicates that might be unlikely. Each day calls for another chance of rain.
