Wingnuts win seventh straight behind trio of four-hit games

The Wingnuts took a third straight game from the Rockland Boulders on Wednesday night, extending their overall winning streak to seven games in a 15-3 victory in Pomona, N.Y.

An eight-run sixth inning put the game away. The Wingnuts had 14 batters come to the plate, with half getting hits.

John Rodriguez, Abel Nieves and Madison Beaird each had four hits for the Wingnuts (52-25).

Chris Smith pitched seven strong innings for the victory, allowing two earned runs on two hits.
