Three finalists who want to run Wichita State University’s College of Engineering are heading to campus next week to talk about the job, university officials said Tuesday.
The three candidates will visit with administrators, faculty and students.
• Atam Dhawan, currently interim dean, Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, at the Albert Dorman Honors College, New Jersey Institute of Technology. Dhawan will visit WSU on Sunday through Tuesday, university officials said. There will be an open forum from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Monday at 209 Wallace Hall.
• Royce Bowden Jr., currently associate dean for academic affairs, Bagley College of Engineering at Mississippi State University. Bowden will visit WSU Aug. 14-16. There will be an open forum from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 15, 209 Wallace Hall.
• Arup Maji, currently senior technical adviser at the Space Situation Awareness group, Air Force Research Lab, Department of Civil Engineering, at the University of New Mexico. Maji will visit Aug. 25-27. There will be an open forum from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 26, 209 Wallace Hall.
